Overview

All of the wood chip and sawdust used to make Greenwood wood pellets is bark free thus reducing ash content and raising the calorific value, the wood pellets are EN Plus A1 quality award certified and all material used is from FSC certified material.

Ethically and sustainably sourced logs enter the sawmill in Ireland and are refined and made into usable products such as fencing panels. The raw material for the wood pellets is made up of sawdust and wood chip which is a by product of the sawmill and the wood pellet processing is fuelled using heat from a biomass boiler on site. All efforts are made to ensure that waste is reduced and the environmental impact is kept to a minimum.
